Only Registered Users

I keep going back and forth on this one. Should I allow anonymous venom and comments from "bobby" or should I only allow registered users. I'm going with only registered users. So, sign up for an account today at blogger.com. You don't need to start your own blog, but it keeps the people who think "ding-dong-dash" is a fun game from commenting on my posts. Don't worry. If you're especially creative, you can sign-up as someone other than yourself and say to yourself "ha, ha ... gotcha B-U-R-L-Y" from your chair in your mom's basement while sitting in your underwear and eating an untoasted pop tart. Ha, ha ... gotcha anonymous/bobby!

I've tried to write something witty and I just got nothing, EXCEPT that I believe that this 'Bobby' and 'Anonymous' are actually working together in order to lead you into having only registered users and giving in to their fear tactics. Matt if you continue to live in fear then the terrorists have you and you've just thrown away your right to freedom and democracy and did I mention freedom?

Fight terror, fight bobby, don't live in fear Matt. Besides if "Go back to Canada, hey" is the best that Bobby's got then chances are that the battle is in your favor.

Well I say keep it to members only, an ounce of prevention still goes a long ways

SFB -- I take it from the tone of your email that YOU are bobby and anonymous. No way for you to deny it now is there ... except to deny it ... oh, and in my post ... "venom" was a strong -- too strong a word.

Burly I'm NOT Bobby...honestly....I Promise...I just think that this will cut down on the comments that you receive and as a fellow blogger, I know how much that means to our self-esteem

I know you're not. And I know you feel my pain.
