I have fond memories of eating there as a kid. It's good though you'll find it on many best hot dog listsWolfy's on the NorthsideVienna Beef factory store in Lincoln ParkSuperdawg on the northsideWiener's Circle on Clark, but watch out for the drunks at nightGold Coast all over the city, but extremely expensive. Hardly ever eat there.
Oh yes, I forgot. Fluky's in Buffalo Grove http://www.flukys.com/They used to be in northbrook, but they strangely moved. I haven't been to their new location. Not sure if it still meets the standards.
Dick's Hot Dog Stand in Wilson (at least that is what the T-shirt says).Personally I think their onion rings are the best thing they have to offer.
