Obey

Today Sam learned the word "obey" ... mainly because he was getting so good at the act of disobedience. Naomi did a good job teaching him. He knows the meaning of obey in both theory and practice, and also does a good job with the concept of disobedience in theory and practice. Consequences help teach a little two year old (almost) how to stay inside the "boundaries of blessing" so to speak. He loves to get a hug after incurring the consequences and we love giving the hug more than the offering that curbs his enthusiasm in the wrong direction.
